Remember when the school radio was just a speaker in the hallway or an old website where things were hard to find? Well, that's over.
Today I'm super happy to present Veredillas FM, the new digital platform designed by and for the students of IES Veredillas. We've created a place where you don't just come to listen, but to take part.
What Can You Do on the New Website?
We thought of everything so your experience is great. Here are the highlights:
1. Listen to your favorite podcasts, wherever you are
You no longer have to dig through a thousand files.
- +Mini player: Start listening to an episode and keep browsing the site. The audio doesn't stop.
- +Organization: Quickly find what you like: "Day-to-day chats", teacher interviews, debates... everything is sorted.
2. Take part LIVE
Radio is no longer one-way. We want to hear you (or read you).
- +Live chat: When we release an episode, you can comment on it in real time with other classmates.
- +Reactions: Did you like something they said? Throw floating heart or fire emojis to show it!
3. Stay in the know
Veredillas FM is also the school's digital newspaper.
- +Blog and news: Read articles about what's happening at school, trip chronicles, or interesting topics written by your classmates.
- +Smart search: Looking for a specific teacher or topic? Press
Ctrl+K(or the magnifier) and find it instantly.
4. A first-class experience
We worked hard to make the site beautiful and functional.
- +Dark mode: Of course, so you don't get dazzled at night.
- +Super fast: It loads instantly, with no waiting, so you don't waste data.
Made by Students, for Students
The most important thing about this project is that it's ours. From recording the voices to the website's code, everything was created by Veredillas students.
It's a space for your voice to be heard. Whether recording a podcast, writing an article or just commenting, Veredillas FM is your community.
